I had the opportunity this past week to go on a three-country tour in Europe. I visited Paris, France, London, England, and Brussels, Belgium.
My flight departed out of NYC JFK airport, and I had a late evening departure, so I thought I would go relax and enjoy the Air France Lounge which is always a treat when flying internationally. That’s one of the benefits of being a Delta Reserve cardholder or any premium cardholder, you can really enjoy the experience before your flight. The amenities in some of these lounges, It can really spoil you.
Great food, drinks which include alcohol and many other things to relax before a long flight.

The Hotel
Hotel Vaneau Saint Germainhttp://vaneausaintgermain.com/en/
My hotel was in the heart of the city and it was definitely close to most major attractions. It was a boutique style hotel which I loved, it was very quaint and charming. The front desk staff was very friendly and quite helpful when needed.
The customer service was excellent. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious but a little pricey. and it’s not included with the stay. The area that it’s located in has great places to shop, nice restaurants and anything your looking for is right there.

The local scene around the hotel

Secco is a bakery located around the corner from my hotel. The pastries were to die for … yummy:)

Paris is a great city to get lost in because you stumble on so many great finds and wonderful stores , cafes, and unique things. It’s the haven for taking great photos because there are so many wonderful backdrops. This is a photographer’s dream to capture so many great shots.

The Adventure
I had been planning for this trip for sometime now. I wanted it to be a memorable trip full of memories, but at the same time it was the moment for self discovery and adventure.
My friends that were traveling with me had never been to Paris, so the planner that I am I needed to make sure this was a trip to remember .
The itinerary that I planned was a bit aggressive because of the time frame we had in each city. So each day was filled with a full day of sightseeing. Looking back after the trip, I realized you can’t plan three cities/ countries in one week when you include travel time to get there too.
I wore my travel buddies out, they had to take a break because of the hectic schedule. But my goal was to make sure they had and memorable experience in Europe.
Day 1 in Paris
After we got settled in we decided to go explore the area to see what’s around our hotel. It was definitely a great location to be because we had a lot of nice spots to check out. Everything you might be interested in it was nearby, I felt like I got the best of both worlds in the Vaneau Saint Germain area.
First, the Hop on and Hop off tour of Paris, it took a bit to find the bus stop. We did a lot of walking around were they are normally in the tourist areas.

Next Stop Lunch @ Le Royal Opera

The Bateaux Parisian Sunset Cruise
Later that day, one of the highlights of this trip was the Bateaux Sunset Cruise. It was amazing and I highly recommend this on things to do in Paris. Everything was fantastic, the food, views, and entertainment. It’s romantic and relaxing.

Black Paris Tourwww.blackparistour.com
We went on the Black Paris Tour which feature the contributions that black people were noted for in Paris. It was a very enjoyable tour. It was uplifting, and I was inspired to know of the contributions that black people that you’ve read and heard about in history, the mark they left there in such a beautiful city. Our tour guide had such a plethora of information to share with the group.
This is a highlight on a great itinerary when visiting Paris. It takes you to places that might not be on the popular tourist attractions but we visited some great places to enjoy.

London, England
This is a city that I instantly fell in love with when we arrived, I felt wonderful being in a royal city and was excited and waiting patiently to get to explore all the grand excitement.
Once we navigated our way from the airport to the train station and to our final destination, we were up and running full steam ahead.
I had only a few hours in the royal city and I might add that was a bad idea for me to take a day trip to London because it was a teaser for me to make sure I return.
But I went sightseeing aggressively that day. And I will return with plenty of time to get the full enjoyment of the grand city.

London all you did was tease me but that’s my fault . Don’t worry I shall return.
Brussels Belgium
When I started planning the itinerary it was supposed to be just London and Paris, It was something about Belgium I wanted to see, so I decided to add Brussels on the places to go since I was that close to Paris. That’s the one thing I love about Europe the different countries so close to each other.
I planned to have Belgium Waffles, Chocolate and definitely had to try the French fries since that’s where it originated from.
It certainly was an enjoyable day on my solo travel tour. My travel buddies stayed behind in Paris, France so I had the day to do whatever I wanted.
My chariot awaits me The Thalys train

This is where I purchased my chocolate .. OMG… SO GOOD
I had a great day on my solo adventure and I will definitely do it again. I enjoyed the city but I would have to come back to really get the feel of the city.
Lunch @ 58 Tour Eiffel
I booked this excursion because I wanted a memorable experience at such an iconic landmark The Eiffel Tower. The experience was amazing and I would recommend this if you enjoy experiences.

Inside the Tower

Outside on the Eiffel Tower Grounds
I thought I would bring you into the surrounding areas of the tower that you don’t see in pictures.

The Photo Shoot
You can’t go to Paris without having some great memories. So I decided to do a mini amateur photo shoot with all of the great photo props in the City of Lights this is a must do. Next time I will do it professionally. Yes I was feeling myself a little…. HaHa

The Departure
It’s been a great vacation so much to see and not enough time

As you can see Paris doesn’t owe me much, but I’m definitely coming back to explore just the city this time, so much I didn’t see but I tried to cover the tourist attractions on a limited time frame.
I understand the love affair with Paris now, I had an amazing time here and will continue to visit many years to come.
Until next from Paris with Love💕
Merci
